05-04-15 10:21 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Disorderly conduct-public
Unit block W. Stewart Ave. – One male offender taken into custody after a complaint of a drunk and disorderly subject. The offender will be cited.
05-04-15 15:42 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycle
Unit block W. Stratford Ave. – The victim reported that sometime after Saturday afternoon her son’s black BMX bike was taken from the rear of the residence. The bike was stored by the rear door, unlocked, and not visible from the street.
05-04-15 19:31 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block E. Windermere Ter. – The victim reports that at some point in the past month his ladder and generator were stolen from the rear of his property. The property was kept unsecured beneath the rear porch.
05-05-15 13:21 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft-attempted-from auto
Unit block W. Plumstead Ave. – The victim reports her vehicle was ransacked, She believes it was locked, but there is no damage. Nothing of value taken.
05-05-15 13:54 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft- under $50
200 block Bryn Mawr Ave. – The victim reports sometime overnight someone entered her unlocked garage and removed a drill. Her vehicle was in the garage, vehicle was unlocked, and was also entered. Change was taken from the vehicle console.
05-05-1509:46 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft-$200 & over from auto
200 block Bryn Mawr Ave. – The victim reports her HP laptop taken from her vehicle overnight. The victim states she usually locks her vehicle; there was no damage to the vehicle.
05-05-15 11:30 hours – Ptl. Young – Theft-attempt-from auto
100 block W. Greenwood Ave. – The reporting party states his wife’s vehicle was entered overnight. He stated they always lock their vehicle; there was no damage to the vehicle. Nothing reported taken from the vehicle.
05-05-1511:50 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- $50 to $200-retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Police responded to the listed location for a theft discovered. Upon arrival, the loss prevention officer provided information on a theft that occurred on 5/2/15 as well as another theft on 5/4/15, both by the same offender. The officer will provide a DVD of surveillance footage of the offenses.
05-05-1508:21 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft-attempted-from auto
100 block Owen Ave. – The victim reports her unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. She reports nothing missing at this time.
05-06-15 15:18 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Robbery-strong arm-highway
200 block N. Maple Ave. – On arrival spoke to the juvenile victim who reported his cellular phone had been stolen while he was on the 200 block of N. Maple Ave.
05-07-15 12:00 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – RSP-disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS- Received a report from the school of the theft of a cell phone. Two offenders were taken into custody for this offense.
05-07-15 17:30 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – All other crimes-code violations
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Citations will be issued to a business for sale of tobacco products to minors.
05-08-15 15:54 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft-under $50 from auto
200 block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports her vehicle entered, which was parked in her open garage. The only thing reported missing from the vehicle was change from the ash tray.
05-08-15 15:27 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports an unknown person stole a FedEx package that was addressed to her at her apartment complex.
05-08-15 15:27 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft- under $50
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim stated that someone stole a USPS package addressed to him from his apartment complex.
05-09-1502:57 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The offender admitted to defecating in the parking lot of the building. The offender was issued a citation.
05-09-15 23:44 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Curfew law
100 block Bartram Ave. – One female was returned to her home for curfew violation. This officer did speak to the juvenile’s father and an acknowledgement of curfew violation form was signed.
05-10-15 12:37 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Criminal mischief
E. Stewart & N. Wycombe Aves. – One offender was taken into custody for criminal mischief (graffiti) after being observed by an ELPD officer. The offender was issued a citation for the offense.
