Police Blotter 05-21-18 to 05-27-18

05/21/2018 14:18- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

The victim came to the Lansdowne Police Headquarters to report criminal
mischief that occurred to his business yesterday. He provided surveillance
footage of the act. He reported that only one side of the double paned window
was broken. I reviewed the footage and observed two black male juveniles at
1915 hours both throw a rock at the business window, causing it to break.

5/21/2018 13:55- DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Police were dispatched to Penn Wood High School for marijuana found in
a student’s locker. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the Assistant
Principal. He advised that a strong odor of marijuana was coming from a locker
belonging to a student, who admitted to having marijuana in his locker which
was found inside his back pack. Charges will be filed.

05/21/2018 16:00 -ARSON

The victim reported that he discovered what appears to be an arson
attempt on the property. He reported that he discovered a large ornamental
hedge in front of the property’s front porch that was burned with what appears
to be some type of accelerant. Investigation to continue

05/22/2018 12:48- DRUG VIOLATIONS

While on routine patrol, officer observed a male walking south on Owen
Ave. who resembled a suspect in a recent theft case. Officer stopped the male
who provided his name and DOB. The offender did have a valid warrant out of
Virginia but with extradition only to surrounding states. The offender was also
found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges filed.

05/22/2018 23:49- PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

While on patrol, officer observed a blue Ford Mustang traveling north on
N. Union Ave. I observed the right front tire of the vehicle strike the right curb
of N. Union Ave. at the intersection of N. Union Ave. and E. Stratford Ave. and
the vehicle came to an abrupt stop. Officer activated the emergency lights of
the patrol vehicle and stopped the subject. Driver and passenger fled on foot.
Passenger was placed under arrest for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly
Conduct after he exhibited signs of being intoxicated.

05/24/2018 19:40- THEFT

Police responded to E. Plumstead Avenue for a report of a theft that had
just occurred. Complainant reported that a black male, had stolen a soda and
left the store and was last seen heading east on Plumstead Avenue on a bicycle
towards Upper Darby Township.

05/25/2018 00:16- NARCOTICS POSSESSION

Pursuant to a traffic stop, the offender was taken into custody for
narcotics possession and related charges. Charges filed.
