Police activity week of 04-27-15 through 05-03-15

04-28-15 17:00 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Criminal mischief to auto
100 block Midway Ave. – The victim reports his vehicle was keyed down both sides overnight. A rough estimate of damage to vehicle is between $500.00 and $1,000.00.


04-28-1517:30 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft- $200 & over
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. -The victim reports her stepson stole a number of items from her home after she allowed him to sleep overnight.


04-28-15 18:30 hours – Sgt. K. Rutherford – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – The victim reports his Smith and Wesson 9mm was stolen. He was given a ride to the bank by an acquaintance and two other unknown males. Before he entered the bank he unloaded the firearm and took the magazine and the round that was in the chamber with him and left the firearm inside of the vehicle. When he exited the bank, the vehicle and acquaintances were gone.


04-28-15 19:44 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over from auto
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports unknown actor(s) entered his colleagues’ vehicle and stole his silver Ipad.


04-28-15 17:54 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Assaults
S. Union & Fairview Aves. – The offender had pepper sprayed the inside of the victim’s vehicle while it was occupied with the victim and her three juvenile children. The offender reportedly had left the area prior to LPD arrival.


04-28-15 21:38 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Public drunkenness
W. Marshall Rd & Windermere Ave. – This officer made contact with the offender, who advised she was just leaving the bar. This officer could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the offenders person. She was taken into custody and cited.


04-30-15 16:10 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $200 & over-retail
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – One offender taken into custody for retail theft.


04-30-15 14:39 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – One juvenile offender taken into custody for retail theft. Due to the offender’s age and the small amount ($2.98) of the merchandise, it was decided he would be charged with disorderly conduct.


04-30-15 23:45 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft- $200 & over
200 block Owen Ave. – Dispatched for a theft discovered. Once out the victim reported that her tablet and other items were taken from her apartment while she was at work. She suspects her brother and his friend.


05-02-15 12:34 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block Nyack Ave. – The victim reported that there was an unauthorized use on her debit card. The victim called the bank and canceled her debit card.


05-02-15 18:17 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycle
Unit block Ardmore Ave. – The victim reports he lent his bike to an unknown juvenile male. The juvenile male did not return the bike.


05-02-15 22:51 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Public Drunkenness/Disorderly conduct
200 block Glentay Ave. – Police received a report for a domestic dispute involving a female who broke the callers’ window. The female offender was taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for her behavior.


05-03-1509:35 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
Unit block Owen Ave. – The victim reports that sometime overnight his vehicle was entered and they removed his wallet and some change.


05-03-15 11:44 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – theft- $50 to $00 – bicycle
100 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim’s report their Schwinn 10 speed ladies bike, gray in color was stolen from their unlocked garage.


05-03-1522:52 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Pornography/obscene material
Unit block Willowbrook Ave. – The victim reports an ex boyfriend has been harassing her and her mother. The offender has sent video of the offender and the victim having intimate relations to many random people.


05-03-15 20:46 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Criminal mischief
200 block Owen Ave. – The victim reports someone pulled a shrub from their front garden.
