Police activity week of 04-21-14 through 04-27-14

04-21-14 15:04 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Burglary-no force-residence-day
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – Upon arrival this officer met with the victim, who reported a Playstation 3 and HP laptop had been taken and there were no signs of forced entry.


04-21-1417:15 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
200 block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports her purse was stolen from her vehicle on April 17, 2014. She did not report the theft at the time. Since police recovered her wallet she wanted to make a report. Vehicle doors were unlocked at time of theft.


04-21-1421:23 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Criminal mischief
E. LaCrosse Ave. – The victim reported he was driving south on N. Wycombe Avenue when something struck his vehicle in the area of Wycombe Avenue between Stratford & LaCrosse Aves. Located on vehicle was a small dent and the paint was chipped, possibly caused by a rock.


04-25-14 10:44 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – MV theft
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports her vehicle taken from her apartment complex parking lot. She states she may have left the vehicle unlocked.


04-25-1412:28 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft – $200 & over from buildings
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Police were dispatched for a theft that had just occurred. A black male in a tan Ford Explorer took copper piping from the warehouse.The vehicle fled towards the city. The total cost of the copper pipe was more than $1,300.


04-25-14 17:00 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft – $200 & over from buildings
Unit block Eldon Ave. – The victim reports a theft of her Michael Khors rose gold watch. Value of the watch is approximately $350.00.


04-26-1401:24 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Assaults
100 block Windermere Ave. – Police dispatched for a physical domestic. On arrival spoke to the victim, she states she and her husband got into a physical altercation after he would not turn down the music. The offender was taken into police custody and will be charged appropriately.
