Police activity week of 04-13-15 through 04-19-15

04-13-15 04:39 hours – Ptf. L. Albertoli- Theft-attempted-from auto
Unit block N.Highland Ave. – The reporting party, while walking her dog, did notice a male next to the door of her father’s truck. She called out to the male and he left the scene. The victim stated entry was made into the vehicle but nothing was missing.


04-13-1504 12:17 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- attempted-from auto
Unit block E. Greenwood Ave. -The victim reports her vehicle entered overnight. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.


04-14-15 18:15 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over
Belmont Ave. – The victim stated that while playing basketball he had set his phone down and when he returned it was gone.


04-14-15 18:30 hours – Ptf. J. Downs – Fraud-credit cards, ATM
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports that she believes her neighbor, had used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases from August 2014 until April 2015. The victim had lent the card to the neighbor to make a purchase for her and she believes he copied the card information and had been using the card ever since.


04-15-15 14:31 hours – Ptf. M. McGinnis – Theft- $200 & over
200 block W. Marshall Rd. – The victim reports unauthorized withdrawals on her savings account.


04-15-1517:50 hours – Ptf. c. Craig – Public Drunkenness
Unit block S. Owen Ave. – Responded for a report of a possibly intoxicated person. One taken into custody. The offender was highly intoxicated.


04-15-15 22:18 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief
100 block Bartram Ave. – The victim reported that someone had thrown a rock or a brick through her window.


04-16-1510:0 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – Police responded to the high school in the office for terroristic threats, not in progress. Upon arrival, school administration stated that the offender threatened to cut the victim. The offender was cited for disorderly conduct and provided a courtesy transport to her home in Yeadon.


04-17-15 12:47 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – DUI
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – While investigating a hit and run accident, the offender was suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The offender was taken into custody, transported the hospital for a blood draw.


04-18-15 01:33 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block S. Wycombe Ave. – The reporting party advised he had observed an unknown male damaging a vehicle parked in the lot. The actor fled the scene. Did observe extensive damage to a Chevy Tahoe. Did leave a message for the vehicle owner to contact police.


04-18-1509:15 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block Legion Ter. – The victim reports minor damage to the rear windshield and door/trunk of her vehicle.


04-18-15 19:27 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Theft – $50 to $200
100 block Drexel Ave. – The victim reports her lawn mower was stolen from outside of her garage.


04-19-15 21:25 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Drugs-sale/mfg
Unit block Windermere Ave. – Offenders taken into police custody as a result of an argument and the fact that drugs were located at the scene.
