Police activity week of 04-09-12 through 04-15-12

04-10-12 07:41 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – Dispatched to PWHS for a student in custody. During a random search at the high school the juvenile offender was found to have drugs in his possession. A further search revealed drugs, a utility knife and two spare razor blades in the offenders locker. After conferring with the assistant principal, a summary disposition was agreed upon. The offender was advised he would receive a citation in the mail.

04-10-12 16:39 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Harassment
200 block N. Lansdowne Ave. -The victim reported her neighbor continually harasses her children when they play in their own back yard. This officer advised the victim I could file a summary harassment citation but she would have to come to court to testify about the incidents and behavior. The victim agreed. This officer will send a citation through the mail to the offender.

04-12-12 05:45 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Disorderly conduct
100 W. Baltimore Ave. – Police responded for a report of smoke inside the building. On location, the fire alarm was sounding and smoke was discovered in the 2nd floor hallway. The smoke was discovered inside apartment L. Once inside of the apartment the offender was found lying on the couch passed out with multiple empty beer cans on the floor and table next to her. The offender was evacuated out of the apartment building and once outside she became verbally abusive, yelling and screaming profanities along with racial slurs. She was taken into custody and will be charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

04-12-12 18:40 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Theft- $50 to $200 – retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Received a call for a theft that had just occurred at the CVS. Actor was a black female and she fled the scene. Taken were cosmetic and skin care products. Store manager did provide two CD’s to Sgt. Donegan that showed the female actor as she entered and exited the store.

04-14-12 00:17 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Drive under influence
Marshall Rd & N. Wycombe Ave. – Offender was stopped for a red right violation. Pursuant to the stop the offender was arrested for DUI and related traffic offenses. The vehicle was impounded and towed to Herby’s. The offender was processed and released to his sister.
