WEST ESSEX AVE.

The complainant came to the police department to report identity theft. The complainant indicated that he obtained a copy of his credit report and learned that a Comcast account was fraudulently opened using his name and information.


04/30/2018 16:31- RETAIL THEFT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Police were dispatched to N. Lansdowne Avenue for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred. On location, the reporting party states that an unknown black male had taken merchandise without paying for it.


04/30/2018 21:09- FRAUD
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Dispatched to a business for a report of a theft attempt -just occurred. On my arrival, officers met with the complainant who reported the following: Two black males entered the store and quickly attracted the attention of the cashier. They later attempted to purchase items with a stolen credit card.


05/01/2018 06:18- NARCOTICS POSSESSION
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Police were dispatched to N. Lansdowne Ave., for a report of a male and female slumped over in the vehicle. Officers responded and contact was made with the couple. Both denied that they had used illegal drugs. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were located on the male and he was placed under arrest for same.

PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police responded to Penn Wood High School for a report of an assault that had occurred. On location, officer spoke with the reporting party who stated that there was an altercation where a student was assaulted by another student. The complatant stated that the victim, a juvenile female was currently at the hospital being treated for her injuries. Investigation to continue.


05/01/2018 15:45- MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police responded to an E. Baltimore Avenue auto body shop for a report of a stolen vehicle discovered. On location, Writer spoke with the reporting party, who stated that his sister’s vehicle has been there for months. When he went to check on it on today’s date, it was discovered missing.

SOUTH WYCOMBE AVE.

Police and EMS responded to the listed location for the report of an overdose. EMS transported the victim to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital for injuries sustained during a prior alleged assault at this location.


05/02/2018 08:15- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched to Penn Wood High School for a report of a student in the office that was caught with illegal drugs. Upon arrival we spoke with the complainant who reported that the offender was in possession of marijuana while she was in school.


05/03/2018 11:59- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police received a call for a fight out involving two students in the hallway of the Penn Wood H.S. Upon our arrival at the school, one of the students was in the nurse’s office. The other student was in the Assistant Principal’s Office. Both students cited for disorderly conduct.

Police dispatched to Penn Wood High School for a juvenile student in possession of narcotics. Subject charged after investigation.


05/04/2018 10:00- THEFT
BERKLEY AVE.

The victim reported that she was expecting a delivery of a package containing at-shirt to her address. She received notification that the package was delivered on 5/3/18 at 3:41pm but when she arrived home at approximately 5:30pm the package was not there.

EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police were dispatched to E. Baltimore Avenue for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred. Complainant reports that that a black male had just walked out of the store without paying for merchandise. Officers located the offender who was in possession of the stolen item and he was unable to provide a receipt saying that he had paid for it.


05/04/2018 19:23-THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
CRAWFORD AVE.

Police responded to theft from vehicle discovered. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the victim/vehicle owner who advised that he had parked his vehicle in his driveway and was woken up by his neighbors on May 4th, 2018 at approximately 0730hrs indicating that they had found the door to his vehicle ajar and the vehicle appeared to have been rummaged through. Taken were a wallet and some US currency.

WYCOMBE AVE@ PLUMSTEAD AVE

While on routine patrol, officer observed a vehicle traveling west bound on Marshall Rd, the vehicle crossed over Wycombe Ave onto E. Plumstead Ave continuing west bound, traveling the wrong way on a one way roadway. Vehicle was stopped and contact made with the driver/ offender who was taken into custody for DUI.

EAST BALTIMORE AVE

Police were dispatched to E. Baltimore Ave., for a report of a robbery with a handgun that had just occurred. It was reported that the actor took money and fled the store in an unknown direction. Investigation to continue.


05/06/2018 02:27- PUBLIC DRUNKENESS
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE

The offender was arrested for public drunkenness outside of a business on North Lansdowne Ave.


05/06/2018 12:00- THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
WAYNE AVE.

Police responded to Wayne Avenue for a report of theft from vehicle. Victim stated that he went out to his car today and noticed the contents of his glove compartment were thrown around the inside of the car. Victim states that after looking closer, he discovered that his cell phone was missing from the car.
