Police Blotter 04-29-19 to 05-05-19


04/29/2019 10:10 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
EAST GREENWOOD AVE.

The victim reported that she parked her vehicle in the driveway of her home and last saw it at approximately 01 OOhrs on April 29, 20 19. When she returned to the vehicle later that morning at approximately 1 OOOhrs, the vehicle was missing.


04/29/2019 20:29 – ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE
BERKLEY AVE.

Police responded to Berkley Ave. for the theft attempt from vehicle. The reporting party said that his wife’s vehicle was entered and the glove box and center console were rummaged through but nothing appears stolen at this time. Vehicle left unlocked.


04/30/2019 14:31 – FRAUD
GREEN & ESSEX AVE.

Police were dispatched to Green and Essex Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival to the area, officers made contact with the complainant. During the investigation, it was learned that the driver of the vehicle had fraudulent paperwork. Charges are pending.


04/30/2019 17:08 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE
EAST ESSEX AVE.

The victim came to the Police station to report that his firearm went missing some time in the last week. The victim reported that he keeps the firearm in his vehicle. He last saw the weapon a week ago and when he went to look for it today, he could not locate it.


05/01/2019 13:24 – THEFT
EAST STEWART AVE.

Police were dispatched to East Stewart A venue for a report of a theft discovered. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who reported money he believes was stolen from him overnight. The victim stated that a friend of his stayed at his apartment overnight. He left his wallet with in his shoe and fell asleep. When the victim woke up, he discovered cash missing. So called friend was no longer on location.

ARDMORE AVE.

The Lansdowne Police were dispatched to Ardmore Ave. for a report of a domestic disturbance in which an assault had occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that an assault had occurred and the defendant was placed under arrest.


05/02/2019 12:47 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched to Penn Wood High School for a report of a domestic disturbance involving a male student. Upon arrival, officers learned that the juvenile offender had been harassing a female student. The juvenile offender was released to his father at the high school

Juvenile male cited after a domestic disturbance.


05/02/2019 17:46 – THEFT
GREEN AVE.

Police were dispatched to Green Avenue for report of a theft of a cell phone discovered. There was a three hour time delay between the time the phone was taken and the call to 911. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who reported a cell phone was taken from her front steps.
