04/09/2018 10:20- THEFT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The victim came to the Lansdowne police dept. to report the theft of his identity and his tax return check. He added that he filed his taxes in early February 2018 at a tax office located on N. Lansdowne Ave. He qualified for a tax loan check that day and received a check. He was advised that his second check should arrive in 3-4 weeks. Investigation to continue.


04/09/2018 11:59- VANDALISM
HOFFMAN PARK

While on routine patrol in the area of Scottdale Rd, officer was flagged down by a passing driver who stated that a male dressed in a black hoodie and black pants was located inside of Hoffman Park at the tennis courts spraying the walls with spray paint. Subject was arrested and charged.

GLENTAY AVE.

Lansdowne Police were dispatched for criminal mischief discovered. Upon arrival police met with the victim who advised his garage window had been broken out.


03/20/2018 11:44 -THEFT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

On Monday, 41912018 at 1244 the Lansdowne Police were dispatched to 100 Green Ave to see the Assistant Principal about a stolen phone. Upon arrival we were advised that on 03/20/2018 the involved party was involved in a physical fight where her phone was lost during the scuffle. It was reported that another subject had bought the phone for $20.00 after it had been found on the floor.


04/10/2018 18:05 – NARCOTICS
EAST LACROSSE AVE

While investigating a domestic, the officer was speaking with the
offender and observed a glass mason jar in his opened backpack, containing
marijuana. He will be charged appropriately.


04/10/2018 19:06- THEFT
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police were dispatched toW Baltimore Ave. for a domestic not-inprogress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who advised that her boyfriend had stolen her PNC debit card after a verbal domestic. The altercation occurred on 4/9/18. She advised that the card was used on 4/9 and 4 j 10 before she was able to cancel it. Through her bank statement, the total value of the fraudulent charges is currently estimated at $488.39.


04/11/2018 15:20- BURGLARY
BERKLEY AVE.

Police responded to Berkley Avenue for a report of a burglary discovered. On location, officers were met by the victim who stated that he had come home from work and noticed that the rear door located on the west side of the property was open. He states that he checked the interior of the home and noticed that the rear bedroom of the home had been burglarized. Entry was made through a ground level open, unlocked window located on the east corner of the home.


04/12/2018 10:15 -DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police responded to Penn Wood High School for a report of two students in the principal’s office. On location, officer was met by the reporting party who stated that there was an incident involving two students, where one pushed the other and the one punched a glass window pane and broke it. Citations issued.


04/13/2018 11:30- FRAUD
SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The victim came to the police station after receiving a letter from a collection agency. The victim believes that numerous fraudulent accounts were opened in her name.


04/13/2018 09:15- THEFT FROM AUTO
EAST ESSEX AVE.

Police received a report of theft from auto. The victim states that she exited her black Ford fusion on 4/12/2018 at approximately 1900hrs and entered her home. When she reentered her vehicle in the morning, she discovered that it had been rifled through. Nothing reported missing.


04/14/2018 19:11- ROBBERY/CARJACKING
UNION & AUSTIN AVE.

Police responded for a report of stolen vehicle stolen from outside the business. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle was running.


04/14/2018 17:19- NARCOTIC POSSESSION
MADISON RD.

Adult female arrested for PF A violation and narcotic possession.


04/15/2018 09:05- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTO
NYACK AVE.

Police received a report of vandalism. Upon our arrival the victim states that she parked her silver Nissan in the driveway. She secured her vehicle and entered her residence. She returned to her vehicle this morning and discovered that the door handles to the driver’s door and the front passenger side door had been broken off. The door handle’s wiring sustained damage as well.


04/15/2018 13:56- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

While investigating a motor vehicle accident, officer spoke with the offender and could smell a strong odor of fresh marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A small bag of marijuana was located and the offender will be cited.


04/15/2018 21:48- ASSAULT
NORTH WYCOMBE AVE.

Police, along with EMS, were dispatched toN Wycombe Ave and Union Ave for an assault victim on a Septa bus. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver of the Septa bus who stated that a passenger had spayed her with an unknown substance upon exiting the bus. Offender was not on location.
