PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

The reporting party came to the Lansdowne Police Department to report that her ll yr old nephew had his Apple iphone stolen by a juvenile neighbor and that it was tracked to the Penn Wood High School (9th grade academy) in Yeadon. Police went to the 9th grade academy and recovered the stolen phone

04/04/2018 10:40- STRONG ARMED ROBBERY
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

The victim stated that he was robbed by two black males in their twenties in front of the ALDI store. Investigation to continue.

WEST MARSHALL RD.

The Lansdowne police received a report of a theft from vehicle. The victim discovered that her unlocked vehicle had been rifled through. The unknown actor(s) removed paperwork from inside the glove box and center console.


04/06/2018 14:48- RETAIL THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police were dispatched to a store located on E. Baltimore Ave. for a report of a retail theft just occurred. Officers located the two suspects and returned them to headquarters.


04/06/2018 13:00- RETAIL THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

The police responded to E. Baltimore Avenue for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred. While enroute the dispatcher advised that an employee was chasing the suspects on foot. Police were unable to locate individuals

WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

The victim reported that she received a bill from PECO Energy stating that she had an outstanding balance. When she contacted PECO about the bill, she discovered that unknown person(s) fraudulently applied for and received electric service from PECO. Investigation to follow.


04/06/2018 15:30- FORGERY
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The manager from a local business on N. Lansdowne Ave reported that a subject attempted to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill.


04/08/2018 13:15- CRIMINAL MSCHIEF TO AUTO
SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Police were dispatched to S. Lansdowne Avenue for a report of vandalism to two vehicles that had just occurred. Officers spoke to the victims who stated that two juvenile females had just vandalized their cars. They stated that the two juveniles went back into their home on S. Lansdowne Avenue. Investigation to continue.
