04/01/2019 07:55- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST ESSEX AVE.

Police dispatched for a theft from vehicle discovered. Once out. the victim reported that she parked the listed vehicle in the driveway of her residence on Saturday and when she entered her vehicle on this date, she discovered the driver’s door ajar and the inside of the vehicle in disarray as a result of having been gone through. Taken were several keys.


04/01/2019 11:33- ILLEGAL DUMPING
SHRIGLEY PARK

Police received a report of illegal dumping at Shrigley Park. Officer responded and observed several trash bags containing siding, dry wall, spackle buckets, and other trash along the fence line in the county park. The County of Delaware will be notified.


04/02/2019 09:23- THEFT FROM BUILDING
ELBERON AVE.

The complainant/victim came to the Lansdowne Police to report that on March 9, 2019, she discovered money missing from her apartment. The complainant indicated that there was no evidence of forced entry to the apartment.


04/02/2019 12:25- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTO
EAST ESSEX AVE.

Lansdowne Police were dispatched toE Essex Avenue for the report of vandalism to a vehicle discovered. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the victim and was advised he discovered his vehicle had been vandalized sometime over the night. This officer observed numerous deliberate scratches, spray paint, and dents on the hood, both sides, and the rear of the vehicle.


04/03/2019 14:50- FRAUD
WSFS BANK

Lansdowne Police received a call for the WSFS Bank for an elderly customer who withdrew a large sum of money under suspicious conditions. The bank was concerned that the customer was possibly the victim of a scam and contacted police. Police were able to determine that it was a scam and that the victim sent a sum of money through FedEx. Police were able to contact FedEx and recover the money before it was sent out.


04/04/2019 09:12- THEFT FROM AUTO
EAST ESSEX AVE.

Police dispatched to E. Essex Ave for a theft from motor vehicle discovered. The victim’s husband went to move the car at approximately 0830hrs and found the contents of center console and glove compartment strewn across the front passenger seat.


04/05/2019 09:30- FRAUD
EAST LACROSSE AVE.

On above date and time, an officer observed a vehicle with NJ Inspection and what appeared to be a fraudulent temporary Pennsylvania in-transit tag. A vehicle stop was initiated on the unit block of E Lacrosse Avenue. All paperwork provided was determined to be fraudulent. The vehicle was towed and further investigation is necessary.

EAST STEWART AVE.

Lansdowne Police and medics were dispatched toE Stewart Avenue for the report of a domestic assault victim. Adult male was located and charges are pending.


04/07/2019 11:56- THEFT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Lansdowne Police received a call to meet the complainant at a business on North Lansdowne Ave. for a report of a stolen license plate. Upon arrival this officer met with the victim who was parked in the rear parking lot. He stated that he came out of the store and noticed the license plate to his vehicle was gone.
