Police activity week of 03-23-15 through 03-29-15
03-23-15 11:49 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $50 to $200
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. The victim reported the theft of his wallet that took place at the Dunkin Donuts on 3/22/15.
03-23-15 15:27 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – the victim reports money taken from her wallet when she was in school today. The victim had left her wallet in the bathroom at the school and that the assistant principal came to her class and turned her wallet over to her. The money was no longer in the wallet.
03-23-15 17:56 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Sexual assault
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Received a report from Bryn Mawr Hospital for an assault that possibly occurred in Lansdowne. The victim did give a statement to the detective division. This investigation will continue.
03-24-15 15:44 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Theft- under $50-retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Responded to CVS for one shoplifter in custody. The store did recover all stolen merchandise and did not want to prosecute the offender. The offender was advised they were no longer allowed in the
Lansdowne CVS store.
03-26-15 19:38 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Public Drunkenness
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – One taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
03-26-15 19:40 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Burglary-no force-residence-day
Unit block Scottdale Rd. – The victim reports his residence burglarized and a television had been stolen.
03-27-15 09:58 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – This officer observed a disorderly subject inside the Wawa. A citation was filed for the offender.
03-27-15 14:02 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Theft-$200 & over
200 block Wayne Ave. – The victim reports he ordered a laptop computer from Dell computers that was supposed to be delivered to his home. When he contacted Dell they advised that computer was sent through Fed Ex and was reported to have been delivered on March 23th. He has not received the computer.
03-27-15 20:37 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Disorderly conduct
W. Marshall Rd & Shadeland Ave. – While on a traffic stop and during a vehicle inventory before tow, this officer discovered drug paraphernalia. A citation for disorderly conduct on the driver was filed.
03-28-15 13:38 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Robbery-strong arm-misc.
100 block E. Plumstead Ave. -The victim states as he was walking in the store parking lot he had his Apple Iphone ripped out of his hand by a black male. The offender ran away with the phone.
