Police Activity weeks of 03-16-15 through 03-22-15

03-16-1511:00 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Theft $200 & over
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim came to LPD headquarters to report a theft of his coin collection from his apartment.

03-17-15 10:49 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft – $200 & over
100 block Owen Ave. – The victim reports his bicycle was stolen sometime overnight from the front porch of his home. The bicycle was not locked.

03-17-15 17:30 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Theft – under $50 auto parts
100 block W. Stratford Ave. – The victim placed a call to LPD headquarters stating her PA registration plate was stolen off of her vehicle. This officer responded to the victim’s home. The victim believes the plate was stolen while she was at work.

03-17-15 21:41 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza- Burglary -residence forced-unknown time
100 block Drexel Ave. -The victim reported that when she returned home she discovered her residence had been burglarized and items were missing from the home.

03-18-15 16:36 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft-$200 & over
100 Nyack Ave.- Taken sometime this afternoon from the victim’s vehicle was a new tire and wheel. Value of items is approximately $270.00

03-18-15 19:38 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Owen Ave. – The victim reports his bicycle missing from his shed. The shed was unlocked.

03-19-15 05:18 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block Legion Ter. – The victim reports his firearm stolen from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked in front of his house.

03-19-15 14:59 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft- $50 to $200
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Police responded for a report of a shoplifter, not on scene, who had stolen children’s medication from the store. Checked area for offender with negative results.

03-20-15 15:21 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
100 block E. Stewart Ave. – Police responded to a burglar alarm. On arrival it was found that a burglary had occurred.

03-21-15 04:00 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Police responded for a noise complaint with neighbors now outside of their apartments arguing in the hallway over the noise complaint. One cited for disorderly conduct for causing a disturbance.

03-21-15 09:19 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
200 block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports unknown person had gone through his vehicle overnight. Several items were taken from the vehicle.

03-22-15 17:55 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Offenses against family-other
N. Lansdowne &Stratford Aves. – Responded to a report of a small child walking on the street with no adults around. On arrival a three year old boy had been found on Lansdowne Avenue with no adults around. The adults determined to have the duty to care for the child will be charged with endangering the welfare
of a child.
