03/28/2018 08:31- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.
The victim reported that her firearm was stolen from the glove compartment of her vehicle along with a black Garmin GPS and money.
03/28/2018 10:50- ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Victim came to the police station to report the following theft attempt from her vehicle. She found the contents of the passenger compartment rifled through. The actor may have been interrupted because there does not appear to be anything missing from the vehicle including some change in the center console that was left apparently undisturbed.
03/29/2018 09:20- ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE
The complainant informed the police that someone attempted to gain access to her husband’s vehicle last night. A video was provided of the attempt from the front door security camera. Two individuals are shown in the driveway and attempt to open the doors to the vehicle. Both actors are observed walking away from the residence after the unsuccessful attempt to gain access to the vehicle.
03/29/2018 12:45 THEFT FROM AUTO
NORTH MAPLE AVE.
Victim called to report that her vehicle had been rifled through the previous night. Loose change and dollar bills were missing.
03/29/2018 17:53- FALSE POLICE REPORTS
Police were dispatched to Nyack Avenue for a report of a domestic where a male party was armed with a knife. After investigation, it was determined that no knife was involved. Female was arrested for making false reports and related offenses.
03/29/2018 17:30- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST ESSEX AVE.
Victim came to headquarters to report the following theft from motor vehicle. He had a similar theft from his car in August 2017. In this incident the victim parked the vehicle at about 1800 hours on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. When he returned to the car at about 1700 hours this date, he found that the car had been rifled through. Known missing is US currency that was in his wallet and a bottle of prescription medication.
03/30/2018 10:00 RAPE
Police received an email from Darby PD. The email was regarding report of suspected child abuse that Darby PD received regarding a juvenile Darby resident. Through preliminary investigation, it was determined that the reported act occurred at Hayes Playground (Nyack & Sayers Aves.) in Lansdowne, during the summer of 2017. Investigation to continue.
03/30/2018 18:13- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Two subjects were stopped for suspicious activity. It was determined that they were under the influence of an unknown substance. Subjects were charged with disorderly conduct.
03/31/2018 17:07- ASSAULT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police were dispatched to theN Lansdowne Ave, for a 911 hang up. While en-route, Radio advised that the call was for an assault that just occurred. Upon arrival, an unnamed witness stated that two males just fled on foot but did not have a description. Victim does not know why he was assaulted. He complained of trouble hearing and his ear, face and neck were red. He refused medical attention at this time.
