02-06-12 13:00 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Ardmore ave. – Foreman on job site reports copper pipe and copper valve piping taken from work site. Estimated loss $25,000.
02-06-12 20:08 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Burglary-no force-residence-unknown time
100 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Responded fro report of a burglary discovered. The victim reports she left the apartment at approximately 0800 hours and when she returned at approxmately2000 hours she noticed that apartment door was unlocked and when she went inside she noticed several items missing. The television, computer and a gaming system were gone. Also missing was the victims birth certificate and other personal information from a black pocketbook. Investigation to continue.
02-09-12 17:01 hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Criminal mischief
200 block N. Highland Ave. – the victim heard a loud noise in the dining room and discovered the broken dining room window, a small stick was found on the outside of the window. No one observed in area.
02-09-12 Sgt. J. McCaughan – Drive under influence
Nyack Ave. – Police made a vehicle stop. Upon making contact with the occupants an odor of burnt marijuana could be smelled on their person. A search incident to an arrest found a small glassine of green vegetable wash located in the pocketbook of the offender. She was placed into custody and will be charged accordingly.
02-09-12 00:00 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Counterfeiting-using
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Two actors passes counterfeit ten dollar bills at the Rite Aid. One was identified the other fled on foot but dropped his phone. Case referred to the detectives who will obtain a video from the store. Investigation to continue.
