Police Activity weeks of 02-02-15 through 02-08-15
02-02-15 08:50 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Theft & attempted theft from auto
Numerous locations in the Borough – Several thefts & attempted thefts from auto. Items removed from vehicle include: change, GPS, sunglasses’, phone chargers and candy.
02-03-15 13:30 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Theft under $50 from auto
Unit block Berkley Ave. -Theft from vehicle. Taken from vehicle was a pair of pliers. 3 cigarettes and some change.
02-03-15 16:35 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Assault-retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Police were dispatched to Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred. The offender was violently resisting apprehension. Offender was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
02-04-15 21:10 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Vandalism
Berkley & Shadeland Aves. – Report of graffiti on a stop sign at the above intersection. Sgt. Eisenhart did photograph the graffiti.
02-04-15 23:07 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Disorderly conduct & public drunkenness.
100 block W. Albemarle Ave. – Received a report of a domestic situation. Located the offender. The offender showed up at the house unannounced and was screaming profanities and obviously intoxicated. The offender was taken into custody.
02-06-15 11:29 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft-retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Received a report of retail theft from the Rite Aid. The offenders did leave the store. The exact loss is unknown.
02-06-15 13:00 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Assaults
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – The school reported that the victim of an assault at the school on January 29th, 2015 decided she wanted to press charges against the offender.
02-07-15 12:57 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports he lost his money after participating in an illegal gambling game called. “Three Card Monte”. The caller and two other subjects were charges with disorderly conduct then released.
02-05-15 14:38 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Borough Ordinance & Disorderly
W. Baltimore Ave. & Mansfield Rd. – Police dispatched for a report of a man with a gun. Did locate the male. The juvenile male was taken into custody. The gun was determined to be a Daisy SS gun.
