Police Blotter 02-11-19 to 02-17-19

02/11/2019 07:05- THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Police received a report of theft from a vehicle. Upon our arrival, the victim stated that she parked her vehicle in front of the house. She believes the vehicle was locked. The victim returned to her vehicle in the morning and discovered that it had been rifled through.

02/11/2019 17:45- TRESPASSING

Adult male was arrested for defiant trespass and related charges.

02/12/2019 02:34- CURFEW

Police were dispatched to assist Upper Darby Police at the Save-A-Lot with a reported suspicious condition. The anonymous reporting party reported that two males were checking door handles in the parking lot. As a result of the initial investigation, one adult male and one juvenile male were taken into custody.

02/12/2019 16:11- STOLEN VEHICLE
While on patrol east bound on Scottdale Rd, an officer was alerted to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was involved in a crash at the intersection of Hilldale Rd and Providence Road. The driver fled into Lansdowne Towers Apts where he was taken into custody.

02/15/2019 05:39- NARCOTICS POSSESSION

Police were dispatched to the area of N. Union Ave. and E. Stratford Ave., for a report of an accident involving a vehicle into a utility pole. While enroute to the call, officer was advised that the driver of the vehicle was seen leaving the scene of the accident and was last seen running west bound on E. Stratford Ave. When responding to the accident scene, contact was made with the complainant who reported that he observed the male run west bound on E. Stratford Ave. Assisting officer located the defendant in the area of N. Lansdowne Ave. and E. Stewart Ave. The male was in possession of narcotics.

02/16/2019 20:43- TRAFFIC OFFENSES

While on patrol, an officer observed a silver sedan without its headlights on in the area of E Stratford Ave I N Maple Ave. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle fled and later crashed in the area of N Union Ave I McKinley Ave.
