Police activity week of 01-21-13 through 01-27-13
01-21-13 10:20 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft – $200 and over from auto
Unit block S. Union Ave. – The victim reports two bags had been stolen from his vehicle. The victim states he believes he did leave the vehicle unlocked. One bag contained his wallet with $225.00 in cash, his PA driver’s license and a Citizens Bank Visa Card. In the other bag was an abdominal workout machine.
01-22-13 13:48 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft – under $50
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports her mail box had been pried open in her apartment building. Nothing known missing at this time. The building maintenance man was notified and stated he will fix the mail box.
1-27-13 03:35 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Public drunkenness
Unit block Rose Lane – Received a call to see the man in reference to an unknown male knocking on his front door. On arrival located the offender standing at the front door of the reporting party. The offender appeared to be highly intoxicated. When asked why he was at this location he stated, “I live here!” The offender’s actual address is on Richards Avenue. He was taken into custody, cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct and transported to his actual address and turned over to his mother.
