Police activity week of 01-14-13 through 01-20-13

01-14-13 03:16 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – burglary-attempt-residence-night
Unit block Owen Ave. – The victim was awakened by a man climbing in her window. The victim stated she jumped up and punched the man several times. The man went back out the window and the victim screamed for her sister. Police checked the area but did not locate the subject.


01-15-13 00:07 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Drug equipment violations
Unit block Owen Ave. – The complainant reported she was awoken by a loud bang outside, looked out and saw a purse and belongings around her vehicle. Upon arrival located the items. The purse contained four hypodermic needles, a razor blade and multiple empty baggies of suspected heroin. Further investigation determined the property owner. The offender will be charged appropriately.


01-15-13 07:53 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
200 block Windermere Ave. – Offender was arrested and cited after his involvement in a domestic related incident.


01-18-13 07:55 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. (PWHS) – Responded to the high school to take one into custody. The offender is constantly involved in disputes with other students and that following a dispute today she was belligerent with school officials, making unreasonable noise and cursing out teachers and school staff.
The offender’s mother and grandmother were notified and the offender will be cited for disorderly conduct.


01-18-13 09:00 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
N. Lansdowne Ave.-Municipal Lot A – Offender cited for urinating in the municipal lot after this department received a complaint. She was also cited for motor vehicle violations.


01-19-13 19:38 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Criminal mischief to auto
S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports she parked her 2010 Ford Fusion at the Lansdowne Train Station parking lot. When she returned to her vehicle a couple of hours later, she noticed that the upper left corner of the windshield was severely cracked.


01-20-13 11:10 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $200 & over-bicycles
Unit block Mansfield Rd. – The victim stated that her bicycle was taken from her garage. The bike did have a lock on it but that the lock was cut with her bolt cutters.
