01/22/2018 05:12- BURGLARY
UNIT BLK. OWEN AVE.

Police were dispatched to Owen Avenue. Information was that the first floor resident had broken into the third floor resident’s apartment. Upon arrival police made contact with the involved parties. The offender was arrested and had to be transported to FITZ E.R. where a 302 commitment was completed.


01/23/2018 02:51-122 FALSE POLICE REPORTS
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Lansdowne Police were dispatched toN. Lansdowne Ave for a disorderly subject out front. The complainant advised that he was an Uber driver and was having difficulties with his female fare and she was laying on the hood of his vehicle and refusing to let him leave. Female gave wrong information to officers and was arrested for disorderly conduct and false information to police.


01/23/2018 16:25- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
NORTH WYCOMBE AVE.

Dispatched to see the woman on Wycombe Ave. Officer met with complainant/victim who reported that she parked her vehicle on Blackburn Avenue at about 2330 on Monday, 1/22/18. At about 0600 this date, her husband discovered the back window of the car shattered. She reported that the window appeared to have been broken from the outside. There were a few items moved inside the car but nothing appears to have been stolen at this time.


01/23/2018 21:10- PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The reporting party states that her daughter is currently under the influence of alcohol or unknown substances and had just walked out of Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital without seeking medical treatment. Complainant stated that she had jumped in front of a moving car earlier in the night and had her foot run over. Subject returned to the police department and charged.


01/24/2018 09:25- NARCOTICS POSSESSION
UNIT BLOCK EAST ESSEX AVE.

Officers responded to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm at a home on E. Essex Ave. Fire Department members entered through the rear door and checked the residence to make sure there was no one inside in need of assistance and to read the carbon monoxide levels. The firemen also reported to police that there was what appeared to be possible marijuana grow house in the basement and that there was marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the basement. Investigation to continue.


01/24/2018 21:26- BURGLARY
UNIT BLOCK OWEN AVE.

Police were dispatched to the second floor apartment located on Owen Ave. for a report of a burglary discovered. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who reported that when they returned home it was discovered that their apartment had been burglarized. Both victims reported items had been stolen from their apartment.


01/26/2018 RETAIL THEFT
UNIT BLOCK EAST BALTIMORE AVE

Police responded to a business for the report of a retail theft. The assistant manager said that she observed the actor holding a lip gloss stick in her hand while in the makeup aisle and said the actor then left the store abruptly without paying for anything. Investigation to continue.


01/26/2018 18:11- DUI ACCIDENT
WEST MARSHALL RD.

Due to an accident investigation, female was arrested for DUI. She was uncooperative, including fighting with officers. Police transported her to FMH where she refused a blood test. While at the hospital, she created a disturbance and fought with hospital staff, kicking one nurse in the arm. A criminal complaint will be filed.


01/27/2018 13:55 THEFT FROM VEHICLE
EAST LACROSSE AVE.

Police were dispatched for criminal mischief to a vehicle discovered. Victim states that this morning she discovered that unknown actor(s) had rifled through the contents of her vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry. There was loose change missing from the center console.


01/27/2018 20:15- BURGLARY
MIDWAY AVE

The police responded to Midway A venue for a report of a burglary attempt discovered. On location the reporting party states that her husband arrived home from work this morning at approximately 08:00hrs and while coming in the basement door, he observed that the lock on the door had been tampered with. She states that her husband left for work on January 26, 2018 at approximately 22:00hrs out the same door and it was intact. Entry was not made into the residence


01/27/2018 23:50- PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

The police received a call to respond W. Baltimore Avenue because the involved party had jumped out of his father’s car. The officers observed the offender walking west on Baltimore Avenue from Runnemede Avenue. Officers conducted a pedestrian stop on subject and observed him being unsteady on his feet, having slurred speech and glassy eyes. Due to his condition, he was taken into police custody.


01/27/2018 20:22- RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
MIDWAY AVE.

Police were called for the unconscious subject. Police responded and observed a male lying on the sidewalk having labored breathing and dilated pupils commonly associated with an opiate overdose. Officer administered a dosage of Narcan. Officers located drug paraphernalia and a stolen Tom Tom GPS with a car charger located underneath the male’s body.
