01/22/2019 14:24- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

While on location on Clover Avenue for dismissal at the High School, one of the school’s security officers alerted officers to a fight near the main entrance. Upon arrival at the location of the fight, security officers had separated the combatants and were detaining one student and two nonstudents. Four (4) individuals cited for disorderly conduct.


01/22/2019 20:33- BURGLARY ATTEMPT
MCKINLEY AVE.

Police responded to McKinley Avenue for a report of a possibly burglary in progress. While enroute they were advised that there was a male attempting to push in the front door. On location, officer made contact with the reporting party who stated she observed a black male walking by the front of her home and she turned to walk back into her home. Once inside the foyer of home, she states that she turned to shut the door when the male came running up her front steps and attempted to push the door open to gain entry into her home and repeatedly pushed and pushed on the door as she pushed back, attempting to place a small wedge into the bottom of the door. Victim son was home and called 911. Actor was gone when officers arrived.

BALTIMORE & WINDERMERE AVE.

Officer initiated a traffic stop which through investigation led to the vehicle driver being taken into custody for driving under the influence of narcotics and other narcotics violations.


01/14/2019 08:28- THEFT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The manager for a business on N. Lansdowne Ave reported that he caught a person stealing cans of Energy drinks and concealing them in a back pack. The merchandise was recovered before the actor left the scene. The manager called police to make a report in case the subject is stealing from other stores.


01/23/2019 08:36- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police received a call through Headquarters for a homeless male sleeping in a blue sedan in the parking lot of an apartment building. Upon arrival, responding officers located a blue vehicle parked in the northeast corner of the lot. The vehicle was running and all of the windows were raised. The sole occupant was seated in the driver’s seat. Upon investigation it was discovered the subject was smoking marijuana. Charges filed for disorderly conduct.


01/23/2019 17:39- THEFT
EAST STEWART AVE.

Victim came to Lansdowne Police Headquarters to report the theft of a package. She stated that she ordered a microwave from Bed Bath and Beyond. She contacted Bed Bath and Beyond on 01/22/19 and was advised that the item was delivered to the front porch of the residence by FedEx on 01/16/19 at approximately 1510 hours.

PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

The Lansdowne Police were notified that a student was taken into custody by the school security staff for being under the influence of marijuana. On arrival, school staff had the student in his office. Charges filed.

PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Penn Wood High School Assistant Principal contacted Lansdowne Police about an incident of possible child pornography that occurred in the PWHS today located at 100 Green Ave, Lansdowne. A female student reported that a video that was sexual in nature involving herself and a male student was “Air Dropped” at the school today. It is suspected that numerous students received the “Air Dropped” video but as of this report, the school has not spoken with anyone who has seen the alleged video. Investigation to continue.


01/25/2019 07:48- LIQUOR LAW -UNDERAGE DRINKING
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched to the Penn Wood High School for a report of a student in the Asst. School Principal’s Office, who was found with a bottle alcohol on him in school. Subject charged.


01/25/2019- SOLICITING
WEST MARSHALL RD.

Police were dispatched for a report of solicitors in the area. The reporting party wanted to speak to police. Officers spoke with complainant who advised that when the solicitors knocked at her door, she asked if they had a permit. One of the solicitors said yes, but another said that they did not. The group reportedly said that they were from “the state” when questioned. Subject will be charged.


01/27/2019 20:25- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
INTERBORO PARK

Police were dispatched to Interboro Park for a report of a disorderly group in the park. On location, Writer located a blue vehicle, occupied by five subjects in the parking lot of the park. Upon approaching the vehicle, officer was able to smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Subjects will be charged
