Police Blotter 01-07-19 to 01-13-19

08/2019 07:40 MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT EAST STEWART AVE.
Police responded to E. Stewart Avenue for a report of a stolen vehicle that had just occurred. On location, the vehicle owner reports that she had parked her vehicle in the driveway of her mother’s home. She states that she went outside at 07:30hrs to warm up the car and then went back inside the home. At 07:40hrs the victim states that she went outside and saw that her vehicle was m1ss1ng.
08/2019 13:03- BURGLARY SOUTH RIGBY AVE.
Police dispatched to S. Rigby Ave for a burglary interrupted. An adult male was arrested for burglary and criminal trespass.
08/2019 22:29- DISORDERLY CONDUCT SCOTTDALE RD.
While on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle in the parking lot of Hoffman Park. The vehicle was occupied by a female in the front left seat, and a male in the front right seat. Both were found to be in possession of marijuana and were cited.
09/2019 00:11- ASSAULT EAST GREENWOOD AVE.
Police were dispatched to E Greenwood A venue for a report of a domestic with a weapon. Victim advised that her son was armed with a knife and had left the residence on foot (with the knife). Officers located the male on North Highland Avenue near Price Avenue. When confronted, he dropped the knife and cooperated with police. Charges are pending.
1/07/2019 15:44- CONTEMPT OF COURT EAST PLUMSTEAD AVE.
Police were dispatched to E. Plumstead Ave in reference to a protection order violation. Warrant issued for offender.
11/2019 18:19- PFA VIOLATION SHADELAND AVE.
Police responded to Shadeland Avenue with an Emergency Protection From Abuse order against the defendant. On location, officers made contact with the subject and made him aware that the order was granted and he was to vacate the property immediately. He resisted and was arrested.
11/2019 12:46- THREATS SHADELAND AVE.
Policed dispatched to Shadeland Ave for a domestic with a weapon. The complainant advised that there was a man downstairs with a gun and threatening to shoot everyone there if they do not get out of the house. Subject arrested without incident.
12/2019 14:30- BURGLARY IN PROGRESS JACKSON AVE.
Police responded to Jackson Avenue for a report of a possibly burglary in progress. An adult male was arrested for criminal trespass.
