As a public service and for the increased safety of the citizens of Lansdowne Borough and the surrounding communities – the Lansdowne Borough Police Department has partnered with the 911 Cell Phone Bank program to collect and distribute emergency use cell phones. These phones are intended primarily for senior citizens and victims of abuse, and there is absolutely no cost involved to the recipient.
