Police Blotter 12-24-18 to 12-30-18
12/24/2018 00:25 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT ARDMORE & ESSEX AVE
Police were dispatched to the area of Ardmore Ave and W Essex Ave for a suspicious occupied vehicle. Upon making contact with the occupants, the vehicle was filled with smoke and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was emanating from the vehicle. The occupants were identified and cited.
12/25/2018 07:59 – ASSAULT BARTRAM AVE.
Police responded to the report of a physical male/female domestic dispute. The offender left prior to police arrival. Offender will be charged with PFA violation and other offenses.
12/26/2018 14:20-MOTOR VEHICLE HIT & RUN EAST PLUMSTEAD AVE.
Police were dispatched to see the woman about a hit and run accident that occurred at Lansdowne Ave and E. Plumstead Ave. Upon investigation, a juvenile was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and other related charges.
12/27/2018 11:55 – VANDALISM TO VEHICLE EAST ESSEX AVE.
Police responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle. On arrival, the victims reported that sometime overnight, three tires on his vehicle were punctured.
12/27/2018 15:06 – BURGLARY NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police responded to a burglary discovered. On arrival, the victim reported that he had locked his apartment door before leaving for work. When he returned home he realized that his apartment had been entered and some of his property was missing. He also stated that the door was locked when he returned home and there was no sign of forced entry.
12/28/2018 12:00 – THEFT NORTH UNION AVE.
The victim reported that a mechanic tool was stolen from a vehicle parked on N. Union Ave.
12/29/2018 12:31 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF WEST ALBEMARLE AVE.
Police were dispatched for a burglary attempt discovered. It initially appeared that unknown actors attempted to make entry by breaking a window in the rear of the apartment next to the back door. After we spoke with reporting party/victim, this incident appears to be an accident or a criminal mischief.
