Police Activity weeks of 02-16-15 through 02-22-15

02-18-15 11:12 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Drug equipment violations
200 block Berkley Ave. – While speaking to the victim of a theft the suspect in the theft approached the house. While speaking to the suspect, he gave this officer false information on his identity. He tried to drop a Newport cigarette pack to the ground and cover same. Recovered from the pack was drug paraphernalia. The offender was taken into custody and will be charged appropriately. Another offender was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.


02-18-15 11:12 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $200 & over
200 block Berkley Ave. -The victim reported an ongoing theft of money from his residence. Investigation to continue.


02-19-15 13:40 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Disorderly conduct
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Both offenders were cited for disorderly conduct after fighting on the SEPTA bus.


02-19-15 18:07 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Vandalism
Unit block E. Lacrosse Ave. -The victim reports the window to the front door foyer of her apartment complex had been smashed out and the lock on the door somehow manipulated so it cannot lock.


02-18-1517:50 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Assault
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim was punched and kicked during a domestic dispute over custody of a child.


02-20-1504:40 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Liquor law
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – The offender was taken into custody for public drunkenness.


02-20-15 13:19 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – Police responded to a burglary discovered. On arrival witnesses were interviewed and photos of the scene were taken.


02-20-1517:00 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $200 & over
200 block Berkley Ave. – The victim reported he was the victim of another theft. He believes that is it a person visiting his home. This investigation will continue. Cash missing from the residence.
