Police activity week of 12-06-10 through 12-12-10

12-07-10 12:49 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Criminal mischief to automobiles
E. LaCrosse Ave – The victim called police after a pedestrian confronted her at the intersection of N. Lansdowne & E. LaCrosse Aves. The offender, the pedestrian, threatened and cursed at the victim and then kicked her vehicle causing a dent. The offender was located and cited appropriately.


12-07-10 21:02 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Assaults-simple
Unit block Fairview Ave. – Police were dispatched for a report of an assault. On arrival, the victim was visibly upset and stated she was punched in the face by the offender. The victim had injuries on her lip and complained of piano in her right arm, where she states the offender bit her.

The defendant was lying on the floor and was so intoxicated he could not get off of the floor by himself. The offender was taken into custody and will be charged with simple assault.


12-09-10 12:30 hours -Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- under $50 – auto parts & accessories
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. -Victim reports the theft of his 2010 Lansdowne Borough parking sticker. The victim provided a phone number while he was at the police station. This officer attempted to call the number back but the person that answered stated that she does not know the victim.


12-09-10 12:45 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – theft-$200 & over from buildings
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The business owner reports theft from his business. $850.00 in cash was taken from his desk.


12-10-10 09:43 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Disorderly Conduct
100 block Green Ave. (PWHS) – Police were dispatched for a disorderly subject in the attendance office. The offender was transported to police headquarters was processed and issued a citation and released. The offender is 18 years of age.


12-11-10 04:45 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft-$200 & over-Retail theft
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave (Wawa) – Police were dispatched for a shoplifter in custody. On arrival police spoke to a witness who stated she saw the offender in line reaching behind the counter and grabbing numerous cartons of cigarettes and then running out of the store. The witness did stop the offender. The offender was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. The total value of the cigarettes was $472.72. The offender was processed and housed pending arraignment.


12-11-10 18:13 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft- under $50-bicycle
Unit block Nyack Ave. – the victim left her white Huffy, 18 spd bike in front of the property. The bike was taken by an unknown actor. The bike was last seen sometime this afternoon.
