Police activity week of 11-09-09 through 11-15-09

11-09-09 14:28 Hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – All other vandalism
100 block N. Wycombe Ave. -Property owner/victim reports damage to his heater room including washer & dryer damaged, paint splatter all over the walls heater bathroom and shower. Vandalism in excess of $1,000.00


11-09-09 14:51 Hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft under $50 from auto
200 block e. Essex Ave. – Complainant discovered an unknown actor/s did vandalize his mother ‘s vehicle. The rear license plate was removed and the driver side window was smashed. Estimated damage $200.00


11-09-09 19:13 Hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Simple assault
Scotdfale Rd – Road rage incident victim was punched by actor in highway incident. Investigation to continue.


11-09-09 19:35 Hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – theft-$50 to $200 from auto
Unit block E. LaCrosse Ave. – Victim states his four chrome air caps from his 2005 Nissan Armada were stolen. Value at $30.00 ea.


11-09-09 20:47 Hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Criminal Mischief to autos
100 block Nyack Ave. – Reporting party states the rear windshield to his mother’s vehicle was smashed.


11-10-09 08:48 Hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Criminal Mischief to autos
100 block Bartram Ave. – Victim that sometime between 2230 hours on 11-09-09 and 0830 hours on 11-10-09 someone smashed the rear windshield of her vehicle.


11-10-09 19:48 Hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Assaults-other simple
Unit block McKinley Ave. – Defendant arrested for a physical assault on the victim during a domestic dispute.


11-11-09 00:24 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Robbery-armed-firearm-highway
W. Marshall Rd. – The victims reported walking west on E. Marshall Rd when they were approached by two black males. The first actor grabbed one victim by the shirt and stuck gun in his face, the victim stated that he pulled away and started running. The second actor went the second victim’s pockets and took his wallet the second victim took off running. The victims stated as they were running away they heard approximately five “pops” or gunshots. The victims stated sounded like a cap gun when it went off leading them to believe that it was not a real gun. A resident called in a report of possible gunshots in the area around the same time as the robbery. Checked area with no sign of actors. Investigation to continue.


11-11-09 17:18 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. (Emas Pet Hospital) – Call for a disorderly person in the pet hospital. The defendant was causing a disturbance in the lobby and was repeatedly asked to calm down; she refused and was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct.


11-11-09 18:30 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block W. Greenwood Ave. – Victims states unknown person threw a rock through the window of his vehicle. Nothing known missing from the vehicle.


11-12-09 14:20 Hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Disorderly Conduct
Unit block Green Ave. (PWHS) – PWHS security officer was summoned to school bus #715 where the bus driver reported a disorderly student. The security upon entering the bus heard the offender threaten to hit the school bus driver. The offender was removed from the bus and told to wait in the attendance office. The offender did attempt to leave the office. On police arrival the offender was taken into custody returned to police headquarters and cited for disorderly conduct. The offender was transported to his home and his father was notified of the incident.


11-12-09 23:35 Hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Assaults-Simple
200 block W. Baltimore Ave. – Police responded to a report of a domestic that was physical in nature. On location this officer located the victim seated in her vehicle and her boyfriend was standing on the sidewalk in front of the apartment. The victim stated the offender assaulted her. The victim stated the offender attempted to choke her and threatened to kill her. The offender was placed under arrest, transported to be processed. The offender was charged with assault.


11-14-09 17:04 Hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Assaults-simple
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. (CVS) – Police responded to a report of an assault at the CVS. The victim, the shift manager at CVS, related that a customer demanded to talk to the store manager after a pharmacy order of his was not correct. The shift manager/victim attempted to speak to the offender. The offender did not want to talk to the shift manager and demanded the store manager’s phone number. When the victim attempted to give the offender the number the offender turned around and began knocking store merchandise to the floor. The victim attempted to block the offenders arm from knocking anymore items to the floor and the offender responded by striking the victim in the face. The offender will be arrested for simple assault.


11-14-09 19:48 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
E. Baltimore Ave. – Police responded to headquarters for a disorderly subject. The offender was located at the door of the police department staggering away. The defendant was yelling and then started staggering into traffic. The offender was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and placed in a holding cell until she sobered up enough to release.


11-15-09 21:01 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Driving under the influence
E. Baltimore Ave. – The offender was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop. The offender did fail the field sobriety tests. The offender was processed and his vehicle towed.
