Police activity week of 11-02-09 through 11-08-09

11-02-09 01:38 Hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli- theft under $50 from auto
200 block N. Highland Ave. – The victim’s vehicle was ransacked and taken were approximately $5.00 and a light blue Phillies “UTLEY” t-shirt. The victim may have left a door unlocked on the vehicle.


11-02-09 04:00 Hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft under $50 from auto
22 block N. Highland Ave. – The victim s vehicle was ransacked, not know if anything missing at this time.


11-02-09 10:27 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft $50 to $200 from auto
200 block Jackson Ave. – Victims unlocked vehicle was entered and a Garmin GPS was stolen.


11-02-09 13:04 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza -Theft under $50 from auto
200 block N. Highland Ave. – Victim states her vehicle was entered overnight and approximately $5.00 in change was taken.


11-02-09 17:15 Hours – Ptl. K. Kienzle – Burglary-attempt-residence
Police responded to an attempted burglary. The actor attempted to make entry through the rear door. The attempt was made two days ago. No entry gained.


11-03-09 08:26 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza -Theft-$200 & over from buildings
Unit block Windermere Ave – Victim states unknown person/s entered her apartment and removed approximately $2,090.00 in cash, a DVD player and approximately 30 DVDS and a silver universal DVD remote control box.


11-03-09 10:58 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft under $50 from buildings
100 block W. Baltimore Ave. – The victim states that mail she had placed for the postman to pick up was removed and found on the floor of the building. The envelopes were open and an Olive Garden gift card was missing from one of the envelopes.


11-03-09 16:40 Hours – Ptl. K. Kienzle – All other threats
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Lansdowne Code Enforcement Officer contacted police to report a pattern of escalating harassment by the offender. The CEO had had an increasing number of contacts with the offender while both on duty and off duty. Today the offender appeared a t the intersection with a sign saying “Knock out Gould”. When CEO Gould and CEO Murray went outside to speak to the offender she became very angry and yelled. The victim wanted police made aware of the situation.


11-05-09 09:34 Hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Drug Equipment Violations & Disorderly Conduct
100 block Green Ave. (PWHS) – Police responded the high school for a report of a fight involving students and staff. On police arrival the fight was over and all three offenders were in custody. All three were returned to the police station. Two juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct and released to their father. One juvenile was charged with drug equipment violations for having numerous orange glassine baggies in his possession and disorderly conduct.


11-06-09 17:21 Hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal Mischief- All other
100 block Berkley Ave. – Victims report garage window broken out by rock. The victims believe this happened after school lets out for the day. This is the second incident of a broken garage window.
This officer advised the victims that the police would try to keep any eye on their home especially around the time that schools are being dismissed.
