07-14-09 07:49 Hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Burglary-Attempt-NonResidence-Night
100 block Bartram Ave.-On arrival at work this morning the reporting party discovered that unknown actors completely cut away the window screen that was covering a right front window. Also cut screens from left front and two left side windows. No access gained into building.
07-14-09 16:54 Hours – Ptl. K. Kienzle – Assault-Hands, Fists, Feet
100 block Lansdowne Court – Witness stated that his wife had been assaulted by the third floor tenant of the building. Spoke to the victim who stated the defendant had punched her in the face and in the neck. Both victim and witnesses provided police with statements. Defendant was arrested and transported to police headquarters and charged with assault.
07-15-09 01:12 Hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Criminal Mischief to Automobiles
200 block W. Baltimore Ave. – Victim reports that a black male wearing a black hoodie threw a brick through the windshield of his blue Kia Rio which was parked in his driveway. The victim did chase the actor but was unable to catch him.
07-15-09 10:00 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Forgery
200 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reported he discovered several unauthorized checks that were stolen, forged and cashed against his Citizen Bank checking account.
07-15-09 11:15 Hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Criminal Mischief-All Other
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave – Reporting party stated on arrival to work today she turned on the air conditioning unit, which was working previous day, and there was no air blowing from it. The reporting party looked out back of the building and observed that the electrical box had been ripped open and several of the wires in it had been cut.
07-15-09 12:35 Hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft-Under $50-Retail Theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave (Rite-Aid) Report of a retail theft with the actor in custody. On arrival located the actor who did admit to taking items from the store. The actor/defendant was taken into custody, transported to Lansdowne police headquarters and charged with retail theft and disorderly conduct. All merchandise was returned to the store.
07-15-09 07:00 Hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Criminal Mischief to Automobiles
100 block W. Albemarle ave. – The victim reports while her vehicle was parked in the driveway overnight the driver side mirror was taken. Upon closer inspection it was discovered the unknown actor/s did remove both the mirror and the motor for the mirror from the housing.
07-15-09 20:45 Hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Burglary-No Force-Residence-Night
Unit block Runnemede Ave. – Complainant and his mother (victim) returned home and discovered an unknown person entered their home and ransacked the inside. Complainant is unsure if rear door was locked. Taken from home was a Wii video game consoled and jewelry. The victim and complainant were advised to compile an itemized list of stolen items and return the list to the police station.
07-16-09 13:20 Hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft-$200 & Over-All Other
200 block Windermere Ave. – Victim states he is taking care of a property on the 200 block of Windermere Avenue and before leaving the residence last night he placed a tool box containing 2 Ridgid Drills, 2 Ridgid battery charges, 6 Ridgid batteries and 50 Ridgid drill bits on the front porch. On today’s date he came back to the property and discovered that the tool box and tolls were missing.
07-17-09 12:38 Hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Assault-Hands, Fists, Feet
200 block Congress Ave. – Police responded to a domestic dispute. The pregnant victim had been battered by her boyfriend. The offender was taken into custody; the victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation of her injuries. The offender will be charged with assault
07-18-09 04:47 Hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Motor Vehicle Theft
100 block N. Lansdowne Ave – The vehicle owner/victim stated that between 0001 and 0447 hours his blue Lexus LS430 was stolen out of his garage. It appears the vehicle was towed from the garage.
07-18-09 17:20 Hours – Ptl. K. Kienzle – Harassment
Unit block S. Wycombe Ave. – the offender was stopped for speeding and found to have a suspended driver’s license and his vehicle was towed. The offender was asked if he needed to get any belongings out of the vehicle before it was towed and he stated “no”. 17:20 hour’s police were dispatched to Addison’s Collision for a customer dispute. The tow driver was bringing the towed vehicle into the yard, the offender and another man entered the tow yard and began trying to get items out of the vehicle and threatening the tow driver. The officer stopped the vehicle and the offender was once again driving. The offender was advised he would be receiving additional citations by mail. The tow driver was again called to tow this second vehicle.
07-18-09 19:49 Hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft-$50 to $200- Auto parts & Accessories
Unit block Nyack Ave. – Victim stated that the front drivers side parking light was stolen from her 2000 Toyota Celica.
07-19-09 02:15 Hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Disorderly Conduct-Under Aged Drinking
Unit block E. Stewart Ave. – Arrests for Under Aged drinking and Disorderly conduct issued for a party and fight. Three offenders charged.
