Police activity week of 11-24-08 through 11-30-08
11-24-08 21:59 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Disorderly Conduct
Unit Blk E. Baltimore Ave. – Offender cited for disorderly conduct relative to a domestic argument with his girlfriend. Offender did give police false information. Police found two out of state warrants on subject, these states would not extradite from Pennsylvania. Offender issued citation and released.
11-25-08 08:33 hours Ptl. M. Mugler – Motor Vehicle theft
Unit Blk N. Wycombe Ave. – Victim states he parked his vehicle last night at 2130hours in the lot next to his apartment building. He found the car missing at approximately 0730 this morning. 200 Dodge Neon, New Jersey registration.
11-25-08 14:49 hours Ptl. M. Mugler – Criminal Mischief to auto
Unit Blk S. Union Ave. – Spoke with victim who showed police a scratch on the trunk of his new 2008 Chrysler 300C. The scratch was one line approximately three feet long. Damage to vehicle $400 to $500.
11-25-08 22:58 Ptl. D. Schiazza – Robbery-Strong Arm-Highway.
200 Blk N. Maple Ave. – Police responded to area of 207 N. Maple for report of a disorderly group. On arrival no disorderly group could be located but a witness stated he saw three men yelling and screaming at each other. While on scene the owner of the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant arrived to report his delivery driver was robbed while making a delivery, taken approximately $180 cash and the food order. Did locate two suspects in this case, victim could not be sure when asked to identify the actors. Investigation to continue.
11-26-08 12:45 hours Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal Mischief to Auto
100 Blk Nyack Ave. – Victim reports unknown actor/s had punched a hole in a single tire on each of his company trucks. Victim suspects former employee. Loss approximately $125.00 per tire.
11-26-08 19:09 hours Sgt. B. Eidell – Robbery- Strong arm
S. Lansdowne Avenue- Initial call came in as theft of UPS packages from the UPS drop box. When this officer arrived on scene and spoke to the victim, it seems the victim was robbed on the street by three black males and a white male. After searching the area and pursuing several suspects this department did apprehend one involved party. This investigation will continue.
11-26-08 21:20 hours Ptl. C. Brown – Theft-attempted from auto
200 Blk Congress Ave. – Victim stated she parked her unlocked vehicle in her driveway. When she returned to the vehicle she discovered it had been rifled. Nothing determined to be missing at this time.
11-28-08 07:25 hours Ptl. M. Mugler – Motor Vehicle theft attempted
100 Blk E. Greenwood Ave. – Spoke to victim and observed the passenger side front window frame off of her 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee had been bent back. Nothing missing from vehicle.
11-28-08 10:55 hours Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft-$200 & over- all other
Unit Blk W. Windermere Ave. – Police were dispatched to unit blk of W. Windermere Ave., While responding, officer was flagged down by two black females. The one female stated there were two males in her home and stole Wii system, X-Box, Play Station and 3 games. Spoke to the victim’s father, who stated that his daughter had several male friends over. The daughter stated the young men stole the items. Investigation to continue.
11-29-08 19:10 hours Ptl. T. Selimis – Disorderly Conduct
Unit Blk of W. Baltimore Ave. – Police Dispatched to Unit Blk of W. Baltimore Avenue for a domestic with one person locked in the bathroom and the other person reported to be on drugs. Upon arrival spoke to both involved parties. As a result of the investigation, the male half of domestic placed in custody and returned to police headquarters.
Offender cited with disorderly conduct.
