11-10-08 07:07 hours Sgt. B. Eidell – Theft $200 & Over from auto
Unit blk E. Greenwood Ave. – Victims vehicle riffled. Missing is approximately $40.00 in change and cash. Victim states he is 100% sure vehicle was locked. No damage to vehicle.
11-10-08 10:20 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft $200 & over Bicycles
Unit Blk S. Wycombe Ave. – Victim reports that sometime within the past two weeks an unknown actor/s did enter the yard on the side of his property an remove a men’s red Schwinn Mountain Bike, and a blue girl’s bike. Estimated loss $200.00

100 Blk W. Essex Ave. – Victims two unlocked vehicles had been riffled. Approximately $5.00 in loose change is missing.
11-10-08 09:31 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft under $50.00 all other
200 Blk. Bryn Mawr Ave. – Victim states sometime overnight an unknown actor riffled through her unlocked vehicle. Loose change taken.
11-10-08 08:14 hours Ptl. D. Schiazza – Disorderly Conduct
100 W. Essex Ave. – Police received report of an indecent act in which actor urinated in the street. Actor located and identified. Defendant cited for disorderly conduct and advised this is unacceptable behavior.
11-10-08 12:45 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft under $50 retail theft
Unit Blk e. Baltimore(Rite Aid) – Loss Prevention officer from Rite Aid called police when he observed two white female customers conceal store merchandise on their person. Arrested was an adult white female and her juvenile daughter. Both subjects transported back to police station. Mother issued citation for as no merchandise was found on her person. Daughter was issued citation for retail theft as items were found on her person.

Unit Blk W. Essex Ave. – Victims unlocked vehicle riffled. Missing is a small amount of loose change.
11-10-08 10:30 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft under $50 from auto
100 Blk W. Essex Ave. – Victim reports her vehicle riffled. Missing is a small amount of change. Some personal information was among the riffled items. Officer cautioned victim to be alert for possible ID theft.
11-10-08 12:30 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Criminal Mischief- all others
Unit Blk. E. Baltimore Ave. -Dispatched to see man for vandalism discovered. Met with one of the proprietors of World Class Auto Exchange. Victim reports when he arrived at work today, the power was out to the business. PECO found the electric meter had been removed cutting off the power. Meter was found on adjacent property. Cost of damage unknown at this time.
11-10-08 14:35 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft under $50 from auto
Unit Blk Clover Ave. – Victims wife’s vehicle entered sometime overnight while parked in driveway. Victim reported that his sons were on the porch at about 01:30 hours when they saw a young black male walk out of the Administration Building of PWHS lot and walk up to the vehicle and try the doors. The sons called out to challenge the amble and he left west bound through high school athletic filed. The victim’s sons did not call police at the time.
11-10-08 14:40 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Trespassing of Real Property
100 Blk Green Ave. (PWHS) – While on location at the high school for dismissal, I was approached by the Chief of Security. He stated there were two trespassers who were advised to leave the school and were possibly trying to get on a school bus. While we were talking his radio confirmed that the actors were on the school bus. On arrival I observed other school officers removing two males from the bus. Both actors were returned to the Lansdowne police station processed, cited for trespass and disorderly conduct and released.
11-10-08 23:45 hours Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft attempted from auto
Unit Blk W. Greenwood Ave. – Victim stated she was in her kitchen when she heard a noise and looked out her window and saw a shadow running past. Police did check the area and did not observe anyone. Victim stated her vehicle was ransacked a few days ago. Victims finance vehicle was also ransacked last night. Nothing missing from either unlocked vehicle.
11-11-08 05:58 hours Ptl. M. Mugler – Theft $00 & over from auto
100 Blk W. Albemarle Ave. – Victims unlocked SUV entered and his silver Blackberry Curve was stolen. There was nothing else removed from the vehicle. Loss of approximately $400.00
11-10-08 12:00 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft attempted from auto
100 Blk. W. Essex Ave. – Victims unlocked vehicle riffled. Nothing known to be missing. Advised victim to be cautious of ID theft.
11-11-08 10:50 hours Sgt. K. Rutherford – Theft under $50 from auto
Unit Blk E. Essex Ave. – Unknown actors entered victim’s unlocked vehicle sometime overnight. Missing loose change and a woman’s watch.
11-11-08 11:05 hours Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft attempted from auto
200 Blk Glentay Ave. – Advised by complainant that sometime overnight his wife, the victim had her vehicle entered and riffled through while in the driveway. The attempted theft was discovered 11/11/08 at approximately 09:30 hours. The complainant reported that the victim believes that she locked the vehicle when she exited. The only thing discovered missing from the vehicle was the victims pay stub. There was a GPS unit and change that were left in the vehicle.

100 Blk W. Albemarle Ave. – Victims unlocked vehicle rifled, missing XM satellite radio and about $30 in currency.
11-11-08 15:50 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft attempted from auto
200 Blk Wayne Ave. – Victims unlocked Ford f-150 rummaged through overnight. No signs of forced entry and nothing missing.
11-11-08 15:58 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft attempted from auto
200 Blk Green Ave. – The victim reports that sometime overnight an unknown actor did enter his unlocked Mercury Mountaineer and rummaged through the vehicle. Victim reports nothing appears missing at this time.
11-11-08 17:32 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Theft under $50 Retail Theft
100 Blk E. Baltimore Ave. (CVS) – Received call from CVS manager reference to a retail theft that just occurred involving three black females with large handbags. All three suspects were apprehended and returned to Lansdowne police station. At headquarters the contents of each bag were searched, several suspected items found in each bag. All items seized by police. The offenders were advised to bring receipts for the items to the police station of have their parents vouch for them. Items will be placed in evidence by Sgt. Donegan. All three juveniles cited for Retail Theft.
11-11-08 17:06 hours Ptl. D. Schiazza – Disorderly Conduct
100 Blk McKinley Ave. – Complaint states suspect arrived on location and was threatening him. Actor was advised he had to leave and he was not to have anymore contact with complainant and if he returned he would be charged accordingly. Actor yelled obscenities to the complaint in front of this Officer. He was placed under arrested transported to Lansdowne police station and cited for disorderly conduct.
11/11/08 21:08 hours Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly Conduct
Belmont Ave.-Belmont Park – While on patrol, police observed defendant and contacts in park after park hours in violation of Lansdowne Boro Ord#235. Two contacts were playing basketball and the defendant was sitting on a park bench smoking something. When police approached the defendant started to walk away, police could detect an odor of burnt marijuana and started chasing the defendant. They did apprehend defendant on SW corner of Eldon & Albemarle. Defendant returned to Lansdowne police station and issued two citations then released to his father. Two contacts advised of the park hours and told to leave park.
11-11-08 22:53 hours Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft $200 & over from auto
200 Blk W. Albemarle Ave. – Victim states he parked his Chevy Suburban and same was broken into overnight. Victim states he locked the doors to the vehicle but this morning he noticed the driver door open. Missing a light green IPOD and gold T-Mobile side kick along with approximately $5.00 in change.
11-12-08 02:02 hours Sgt. J. McCaughan – theft $50 to $200 all other
Unit Blk W. Marshall Rd. – While on patrol in area of W. Marshall Rd. this officer noticed an interior light on inside of a dark colored Honda Civic that was parked in a driveway on W. Marshall Rd. Officer approached the vehicle on foot and discovered a black male dressed in a dark hooded jacket, wearing a pair of black gloves and black knit hat inside the vehicle. This subject was sitting in the driver’s seat but leaning over into the passenger seat rummaging through the glove box of the vehicle. Writer shined a flashlight into the vehicle. When asked what he was doing in the vehicle, defendant stated he was looking for a lighter. Defendant was placed under arrest and taken into custody. Items on the defendant turned out to be from vehicle thefts in Upper Darby Township. This officer attempted to contact a parent or guardian of the juvenile defendant without success. Defendant will be held until an adult can respond to take custody.

100 Blk Glentay Ave. – Victims unlocked vehicle riffled through. Loose change missing.
11-12-08 08:29 hours Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft $50 to $200 from auto
200 Blk W. Albemarle Ave. – Victim called Lansdowne station to report that both his unlocked vehicles had been rifled through. Unit #1 missing approximately $90.00 in change Unit#2 which was unlocked in an unlocked garage suffered no loss.
11-12-08 13:25 hours Ptl. K. Kienzle – theft $200 & over from auto
100 Blk Glentay Ave. – Victim states sometime overnight actor entered his unlocked Acura and stole his 30 GB IPOD.
11-12-08 13:56 hours Ptl. K. Kienzle – Disorderly Conduct
100 Blk Green Ave. (PWHS) Police responded to the PWHS. On arrival security had broken up a fight between two juvenile females. Both were cited for disorderly conduct and released to a parent.
11-12-08 13:17 hours Ptl C. Schiazza – Weapons Offense
100 Blk Green (PWHS) – Juvenile offender was found in possession of a box cutter while on school property. Juvenile petition will be filed on the offender.
11-13-08 14:23 hours Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft $50 to $200 from auto
100 Blk Glentay Ave. – Complaint reports her son’s unlocked vehicle riffled. Approximately $20.00 in change missing and a silver and gray MPS player make and model unknown.
11-13-08 02:34 hours Sgt. J. McCaughan – Public Drunkenness
200 Blk N. Wycombe Ave. – The defendant was observed by Off. McGinnis walking south on N. Wycombe Avenue in the area of Midway Avenue. Upon seeing the police car, the defendant hid behind a large van in front of Weinstein Plumbing. Off. McGinnis circled the block and the defendant was still hiding behind the van but then stated walking north on N. Wycombe Avenue where he entered the first floor apartment on N. Wycombe Avenue. This officer was in the area when the defendant exited the apartment moments later. This officer stopped the defendant and immediately observed that the defendant was manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance. When confronted with this he became defensive stated that he was not under the influence of anything. He was wearing all black clothing, black jeans, black hoodie, black knit cap and carry thin black knit gloves. He was also wearing an empty drawstring back park. The defendant stated he was on his way to the grocery store, he stated the back pack was for carrying food. He was asked what store and he stated Sav-A0Lot (which was closed). A search of the defendant revealed he did not have any money or debit/credit cards to back up his story about going shopping. He also admitted to taking several Xanax pills before he left the apartment. The defendant was dressed and equipped to be a suspect in the numerous theft from motor vehicles overnight and should be considered a suspect
11/13/08 15:23 hours Ptl. C. Schiazza – Sexual Assault
Unit Blk Legion Ter. – Lansdowne Police Dispatched for a report of a sexual assault that occurred approximately 20 to 25 minutes ago. Actor described as a black male approximately 5’11” with a basketball tattoo on his neck and was wearing a gray hoodie and blue sweat pants. The actor was last seen getting on the SEPTA 109 bus heading to 69th street. This information was broadcast over the Upper Darby police radio as well. Dispatcher advised victim was headed to Delaware County Hospital.
Responded to the hospital where contact was made with the complainants and the victim. Sgt. Donegan 100 Blk Green Ave. (PWHS) Police received a call to interview the victim about the alleged assault at the hospital. Investigation to continue.
11-14-08 07:55 hours Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Assault, hands, fists, feet
100 Blk Green Ave. (PWHS) – Received a report to see the man at PWHS in reference to an assault.
Officer was met on location by Victim the Asst. Principal, Mr. Cifuni. Mr. Cifuni had two juvenile offenders in his office for fighting. One juvenile turned violent with the other offending juvenile. Victim attempted to separate the two and was attached by the one juvenile. One juvenile detained for aggravated assault. The second juvenile was the least culpable and was cited for disorderly conduct and released to his father. The assaulting juvenile was transported to juvenile detention.
11-14-08 10:17 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Criminal Mischief to auto
Unit Blk E. Stratford Ave. – On police arrival at scene victim reported that sometime overnight the right passenger front window of his Chevrolet Caprice was shattered. The vehicle was legally parked a few doors east of the victims residence. Estimated damage $200.00
11-14-08 12:08 hours Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft $50 to $200 retail theft
100 Blk E. Baltimore Ave. (CVS) On arrival spoke to store manager who reported a CVS employee observed a white male placing items into a plastic bag in the baby formula aisle. The male exited the store and did not pay for the items. The employees then observed the male stop near the shrubs on N. Maple Ave. and place the plastic bag into a blue duffel or carry-on type bag. The actor continued west on E. Baltimore Ave. The actor was described as a white male, about 30 years of age, 6′ tall, with dark hair, wearing a black jacket or hoodie with a gray interior and a white striped shirt. Checked area with negative results. Manager provided this department with a video of the male leaving the store. Investigation to continue.
11-14-08 00:00 hours Sgt. J. McCaughan – Narcotics-sale-morphine, heroin, codeine
W. Baltimore Ave. – While on patrol in the area of W. Baltimore Ave. At Owen Ave a white Honda Accord was observed being operated with a head lamp out. A check of the registration place showed the registration was expired. Vehicle was stopped, as this officer approached the driver of the vehicle, she was moving around a lot in the vehicle prior to writer getting up along side of the passenger side window. Driver/defendant was extremely nervous and w staling incessantly but was not making any sense and could not stay focused. Defendant was searched by Officer T. Selimis and found to have a clear glassine sandwich bag in the front of her pants. There were several brown and clear capsules wrapped in napkins inside the bag. These pills were suspected amphetamines. Search of defendants produced more pills. The defendant did admit to taking the pills from a friend and leaving $300 in return for them. The defendant refused to submit to any type of chemical test. Defendant arrested
11-15-08 03:31 Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly Conduct
N. Wycombe Ave. – this officer observed a 1992 Chevrolet Luminal traveling north on N. Wycombe Ave. with a tail light out. The Lumina failed to come to a complete stop on N. union and Greenwood and then at N. Wycombe and Powelton Ave and then again at Blackburn Ave. this officer stopped the vehicle , while speaking to the operator of the vehicle a marijuana cigarette was observed in the ash tray. The suspected marijuana was seized and the defendant was taken into custody. The marijuana was not yet smoked and the defendant did not appear to be under the influence. She was issued one disorderly conduct and one traffic citation.
11-15-08 20:35 HOURS Ptl. T. Selimis – Driving under the influence- alcohol
Blackburn & Wycombe Aves. – This officer was stopped by a Lansdowne Fire Police who advised a red convertible with two seats operated by a white female was driving the wrong way on Wycombe Ave. the vehicle almost struck his vehicle head-on. The police observed a 2001 red BMW two seat convertible parked and running on Wycombe Ave just before Blackburn. Defendant was identified as the person who almost caused a head on crash. Once police approached the vehicle a strong odor a alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the defendant. Defendant failed field sobriety tests. Portable breath test was administered to defendant who registered a .175 BAC. Defendant placed into custody and returned to headquarters. Defendant will be charged with DUI
11-16-08 01:15 Sgt. J. McCaughan – Driving under the influence -alcohol
100 Blk S. Lansdowne Ave. – While on duty observed a black 2001 Chevrolet Camaro traveling on N. Lansdowne Ave in area of Strafford Ave. This vehicle slowed down in front of the WAWA store and made a left turn and drove over the sidewalk in front of the Garden Church and drove up the pedestrian walkway of the church. The vehicle then backed up onto N. Lansdowne Ave and turned south on N. Lansdowne Ave. I activated my emergency equipment and caught up with the vehicle, the vehicle did not pullover immediately and it traveled approximately four blocks before pulling over. This officer approached the vehicle and spoke to the operator/defendant who had an odor an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Defendant failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody and charged with DUI
